The Clouser Darter is a tremendously popular and effective fly that will catch a variety of both freshwater and saltwater species. Designed by Bob Clouser, a Pennsylvania guide and fly shop owner whose original fly patterns were designed for fishing on the Susquehanna river. This fly has tremendous movement and life like action in the water when stripped and larger trout favored it during fishing this past fall. It’s a “go-to” for Smallmouth bass as well.
