This is a variation of the peacock and partridge, here using synthetic peacock dubbing and a green ultra wire ribbing.
The peacock and partridge is one of the oldest flies, and one of the most proven fly patterns, especially on English chalk streams. Does it need a variation? Probably not, it works just fine with the original pattern, but sometimes it’s nice to try new things, right?
