One of the most fun dry flies to tie, the stimulator can represent anything from a stonefly to a caddis to a grasshopper. Originated by Randall Kaufmann, this fly can be tied in a variety of sizes and colors. Here we have a green body (though not very visible under the hackle) and an orange thorax.
